Favorite TV shows: Entourage, Hung, Spartacus, Ghost Adventures and Diners Drive Ins and Dives….they are all delicious!
Describe yourself in three words: Active, lazy and dynamic….(which makes for the perfect lunch date so my friends tell me)
My favorite activities….Skiing!!!! Even with my snow boarding friends (Boarders Ride but Skiers Drive!) also bike riding, and snorkeling in warm water. Hawaii’s my favorite so far, but watch out Belize here I come!
What would my ideal night be…I can’t put that on here, this is a family station >;->
What are some favorite movies….Gladiator, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, 300, Pineapple Express, What Happens in Vegas and any Johnny Depp movie.
If I had three wishes what would they be …..World Peace, A Heavenly future for all, and I would like to have the body I had when I was 30 ;- )
Highlights of my radio career.
I started out at Napa High School and at the local radio station KVON, then I worked in Sacramento at KWOD where I was nominated by a listener to appear in 16 magazines DJ of the month one year, and won!
At the time I was the youngest program director in the country, and went on to work at KROI and FM102 in Sacramento…then on to San Francisco where I worked for ABC’s KSFX “The Bay Area’s Best”
That was always my goal! Next stop was Hawaii where I worked on Oahu for KRATR Hawaii’s Crater.
Then I stayed home and raised my daughters and came back to radio here at KUIC where I have been the Production Director and Afternoon Drive Jock for 11 years.
It’s been a great career, full of colorful co-workers and great perks. Our KUIC listeners make it all worth while! The whole family can listen to our station which is rare these days, and they appreciate us!
